Thanks Chris,
I'm using a C-11 (regular black tube) on a Losmandy G11. Camera is a DFK 21AF04.AS
I've been using an IR filter, but I'm not sure if it's necessary with this camera.
This one was taken through a 3x barlow. I tried some through a 2x barlow, but I think this
was the best one.
Alan, I hope the jitters means atmospheric jitters and not mount jitters—although, I'd have
at least a little control if it were mount jitters... I was worried a couple of times if the
mount was causing a problem, and turned off everything to watch Mars continue doing
the same thing as it exited stage left.
I keep hoping to get a shot like I did in '03. That was just super easy dumb luck, but I wish
I could get super easy dumb lucky again :)

Anyway, here's my shot. My best so far this apparition, but I sure
am going for better.
Hi Duane
Nice shot, may I ask what equipment you used?
I was not so lucky last night... The high clouds rolled in as Mrs
moved into position. :-(
Hopefully I will have more luck in the comming days.
Cheers
Chris
