Subject: Re: Thinking About Upgrading
Hi Jeff:
I think the Imaging Source DMK cameras start under 400 bucks. Some of
the Point Grey Research cameras probably do too, but you have to email
them for a price list (kind of a pain, but not too bad). I've got two
of the Pt Grey cameras.

I've been thinking about upgrading from the SPC900NC to a Firewire
cam, and seeing a lot of "DMKs" listed in photo credits. What would
you guys recommend as a "next step up" mono camera/filter set for
planetary/lunar imaging? Scope is a 10" LX200 with a 2.5X Powermate.
I'd like to stay <$500 if possible.
Thanks,
Jeff
