LOL Perry,

I am by no means a master! I am very early on in the learning process myself. I'm just starting my 3rd season without any knowledge before starting this hobby.

The biggest changes in order of the quality of the images as been the Hap modified 350D, Atlas mount, Astronomik CLS filter and last the WO 0.8X.

Now onto your question, so far I have imaged everything the season with the Astronomik CLS filter, though from what I'm gathering it should not be used for galaxies. I have only imaged M31 and I thought it came out okay...

Thanks,

Dale
