Do you mean you selected "Export Movie..." from the "Processing" menu and it then ate the movie?


If so, the only way I can see that happening is that you used the same name as the original movie (which means you received a Warning dialog that your going to replace the original) and then part way through the export it either was cancelled or ran out of disk space. Since it's overwriting the original, any interruption will cause loss of data. Export is done via Apple's QuickTime code and all we do is make one call to execute it. How it operates beyond that point is in Apple's hands.
