I tried that and at least for exporting as a movie, it worked fine  

here when over writing the original. That was a short movie though.


However if you saved it as an .avi and did not change the file  

extension from .mov, then it will not be playable. Apple doesn't look  

inside the first few bytes of the file header and assumes that the  

extension indicates what type of content it is. If it doesn't match  

what it actually is, then it won't play it.


Also export is strictly an Apple thing - we don't control naming of  

files or anything else. You get the same behavior with Apple's  

QuickTime Player app too.

By the way I found that the movie taken with the scope unleveled would stack but 

wouldn`t align. Have yet to try overwriting again when exporting or the .avi option. Your 

directions in the manual were less complicated than they at first seemed! So far anyway.
