Hi Folks;

February 21 - 22 was a mixed bag for seeing. It started out pretty

good initially, but slowly degraded as time went on.

I managed to grab a shot of Mars (7/10 seeing, but at 9.9 arc second

disk is hard to clearly identify features)

lower altitude Saturn (which just barely shows a notch where Cassinis'

Division is)

and due to a favorable libration, Mare Humboldtianum and the crater

Gauss with it's weird apparent ridge up the center of the crater. The

lunar image wasn't all that good because seeing had dropped off rather

rapidly.

I tried a closer shot of Gauss with the 2.5x telvue, but seeing had

degraded a lot and it was not worth it.

TTYL..
