I've been using an OrangeMicro iBot for planetary imaging. Because of

Does Astro II DC support 60 minute exposure times with this camera?
Yes it does.
Is it possible to get good long exposure DSO images with a CCD camera
like this?
Raoul posted some DSO images he took with a mono version of the
camera, which are posted in the DSO folder of the files Section:
StephansQuintet_20051014_RS.jpg
NGC891_20051126_RS.jpg
NGC7331_20051017_RS.jpg
And Allan took this
m57.jpg
with a DMK21BF04.
Most of these are less than 60 second exposures.
Also, can you clarify what you expect by "long" exposure (i.e. 1, 2,
5, 10 minutes)? Without cooling a camera, the noise level increases
pretty rapidly.

Thank you for the reply, Milton.
I'm thinking multiple 1 or 2 minute exposures stacked. The only
experience I have with imaging DSOs is with my point and shoot though
an eyepiece for 16 second exposures (my point and shoot's max.). So
I'm not experienced enough to know what to expect from it or what kind
of exposures I'll be looking at.
