To my knowledge, none of the TIS cameras shipped with a lens. The .as designation positioned the non-shutter/IO models for market to the astronomy community. I don't believe there are any differences in the hardware or firmware for these cameras than in the other 21AF04 models.

The above come in USB or Firewire models.

Pretty sure the later .as (astronomical) designation
comes from the camera having no lens. The earlier TIS
cams came with lens that had to be removed for astro
use. Those did not carry the .as designation.
