The above come in USB or Firewire models.


Pretty sure the later .as (astronomical) designation

comes from the camera having no lens. The earlier TIS

cams came with lens that had to be removed for astro

use. Those did not carry the .as designation.

My confusion arose because the DFK 21A F04 AS (which I thought the Astronomy 

shop had preserved for me whilst I saved for it) apparently did have an IR cut filter. The 

DBK model I ended up with dosen`t! Mark.
