Hi Milton, I get you I think. I only have to enter the Dec for the object of interest not for what the OAG`s second camera is centred upon. Is that right? Mark.

Nope, the Guider orientation doesn't make any difference. Astro IIDC
wants the absolute declination of the object, so enter -60 or -61
degrees. You don't have to be precise and a few degrees won't make a
large difference either.
Secondly the idea behind entering the Dec is that you can do the
calibration on some easily found brighter star, then you can move to
the actual target, enter it's declination (so Astro IIDC can
compensate for the changed in declination) and just start guiding on
it. This works best with a secondary scope for guiding, because you
won't be rotating the camera or changing orientation like you would
with an Off Axis Guider when your hunting for guide stars.
