Regarding the Imaging Source camera:

I use the colour camera with the integrated IR cut filter.

If using a BW or Colour camera without an IR filter there is certainly

a problem using a refractor since the correction in IR is way off.

But also for a reflector I would strongly recommend using a filter as

the Baader UV/IR cut.
