Hi Ray, That`s great! The monochrome IS cameras also have a higher resolution than the colour ones. I`m in Australia so I`d have a different aspect to you. Two or three of my 10" photos are in the "Photos" section of the Astro IIDC home page- the later one was on a misty night so wasn`t as good. I`ve had some issues with polar alignment recently with the C10 -NGT. ( I`ve had difficulty obtaining PA since Canopus & Sirius, the easiest alignment stars have disappeared from view earlier in the night). This may be solveable by using my 25mm eyepiece alternately when aligning the stars around Crux? There are a couple more of my mosaics done with Photoshop CS3 Extended in the "Files" section though these are all 4" shots so far. Is this what you`re using? I`ve also been using the MAP image option which Milton made available with Astro IIDC 4.01AO3_UB on the 24th June. Mark.

Hi Mark,

With the extra aperture you should find you'll get more resolution. I did a Lunar montage a while back when I first strated using Astro IIDC and my DMK 21AF04 and I'm not sure if I shared it at the time. Take a look at my astro pages (very much out of date) and see what you think: <http://www.in4media.co.uk/rayandtelescope/hugelunarimage.html>

Thanks Milton, I`ll try the 10" again when I get a chance. I`m buying the Baader filter next week. Mark.
