Subject: Still a bit OT...Robert Evans...

Hi Everyone, In addendum to my previous posting & as synchronicity would have it I met Robert Evans at the local takeaway at Hazelbrook whilst ordering some hot chips! After exchanging greetings we talked about the rainy weather & nearly full moon, not conducive to his line of astronomical enquiry. He told me he still scouts the sky with his 3 Dobsonians for potential discoveries at age 71. I`m pretty sure his scopes are un-motorised! I couldn`t help wondering at this guy who has either through good luck or management chanced upon no fewer than 40 odd of these rare celestial events all through memorising the positions of all the southern galaxies. We even had a chat about the bane of my observations and alignment at present-Polar Alignment! Mark. P.S. what does OT stand for??
