Using my LXD75, there's a calibration routine that you go through to

"train the drives" -- compensate for gear backlash, mainly.

When I use AstroIIDC (v.4), does it honor those settings when

calibrating/tracking or does it ignore them and use it's own settings?

It does not touch them and we have no knowledge about them.

When we calibrate, it's to determine for this camera, with this

optical train, with this orientation and this mount  what are the

rates of motion on each axis.
