Subject: 909 Clone and GPUSB Support

Hi Folks;

I thought I'd pass this along.

Alberto has informed me that he has has added an ST-4 type port

through a "909 Clone"

to his modified LXD75 belt driven mount. Using the ST-4 port with the

GPUSB converter box, he can now guide with Astro IIDC.

An interesting further tidbit on this was that with the 909 clone, he

can do his PEC training on the mount using the GPUSB with Astro IIDC

guiding. So he doesn't have to sit there and move the controls manually.

I wish my early  model HEQ5 with V2.0x version of the hand controller

could do that, assuming it ever stops snowing here.
