Hi Alberto;

Wow Milton,

where are you now?

Actually I drove 8 hours nearly perfectly east to get to my folks place for x-mas. When I set my scope up the altitude angle is within a couple of arc minutes of each other from here in Misstussine Saskatchewan and Calgary Alberta. Took maybe 45 minutes to do the drift align done.

Among the wolves?

No wolves buts lots of coyotes (hear them at night calling), deer, moose, elk, antelope, big arctic rabbits and tons of birds. We had a two deer walk by to the kitchen window a few nights, getting to the bird feeders to eat unshelled peanuts we leave out for the magpies, ravens and bluejays.

It's supposed to be -30°C or lower and clear skies for the rest of the week. I'll have to go out today and re-tune the RA/Dec gears this afternoon as they were fine at -22°C when I set up my scope, but changes of 10°C or so cause them to loosen or tighten too much and need to be adjusted.

2.2 kilobytes per second....

Try not to watch too many Hi-Res movies with such wideband.

It's painful to use, but rural areas in Alberta / Saskatchewan that's about your only choice, unless you want to pay $100 per month and a few hundred dollars for hardware.

Scavenging into my movie database i found 2 copernicus with a very similar illumination but different view angle.

I assembled this red-cyan anaglyph that seems to show some interesting 3D features.

Even if the image is not heavy to download I don't think that among the wolves you have the red/cyan glasses but i hope that someone else could watch it with the glasses.

Unfortunately I don't have my 3D glasses with me, but I'll check it out when I get back.

TTYL..
