You`d want to be doing as much by remote control as possible under such circumstances! I guess years at the game have prepared you somewhat for that. I know remote control is a bit "pie in the sky" at the best of times! Mark.

all wired up for a night of imaging. It was -26°C when I took this. I

had to re-adjust the tensions on the RA axis, which means removing 2

screws on the plug in brackets, then inserting an allan wrench to turn

the screws. The blue blanket on the tube helps keep the optics from

frosting over.


Hopefully I'll be able to capture LRGB M33 tonight, which will fill

the Grashoppers 1384x1036 view.
