Hi, Milton, I scrolled down to "Sep 17th 2008- New Product 9mm short off axis guider" & got "Safari can`t open page". I can`t seem to find "guide star search etc.." but I`ll believe you! These guiders are way too expensive for me at present anyway! Mark.

Hi Milton, What do you think of these guiders? I`m aware that at 210

It looks good, especially since it's so short (9 mm). That would solve possible inwards focus issues too with a F3.3 focal reducer, but is expensive ( a Canadian dollar is worth about 1.2 Aus dollars).

But it doesn't look  like you can move it radially around the optical axis at all, except by disconnecting the Camera and SCT ends, same as the Meade one does. That's a deal killer for me.

And I initially thought that the prism tilted with that screw, but it doesn't. That screw on the side moves the prism in and out radially, as shown on this web site:

Scroll down to the section marked "Guide Star Search - made easy by the prism moving mechanism", which shows the radial adjustment.

HTH..
