Hi Folks;
I shot this a couple of hours ago..
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astro_IIDC/files/Lunar/Luna_20090302_MJA_70P.jpg
It finally stopped snowing, the clouds parted and warmed up from the
-25°C (-35°C with windchill) of last week, so I could finally use my
scope.
Ten 1380x1036 movies with the Grasshopper 16 Bit Camera C8 and prime
focus, 14.5 gigabytes of video shot at 15 fps. Seeing was average.
Sharpest 65 frames out of 500 frames, about 20 MAP selections per
movie. Each image sharpened and slight brightening with levels,
Composited and blended in "My Compositor" and then scaled down to 70%.
I tried shooting some detailed areas with the barlows, but the
turbulence was too high and all I got mushy images.
TTYL..
