Very nice indeed!

Milton, of the current crop of PGR cameras, which would you put in, say, the top five?  If this damned economy ever turns around, I'd like to add to my camera collection.  ;OD

Hi Alan;

I shot it with the Celestron 8". I used a Tele Vue 2.5x PowerMate so

my effective focal length would be 5,000 mm. I was shooting 35 to 50

ms exposures using an AstroDon E-Series green filter this time.

It was just one of those very rare low turbulence nights that made

the difference over what I normally can shoot. If the skies are mushy

with the usual high chatter boiling, your not going to get any details.

If tonight works out, I'm going to go after the volcanic domes area

west of Copernicus. And If seeing is reasonably good, I'll stay up

late enough so I can try imaging Saturn as LRGB with the EXHAD

Grasshopper. I only see the western half of the sky here, so it's not

until midnight that Saturn is visible here.
