Ok Milton,

no problem.

I 'm trying to get used not to modify the name assigned by AIIDC so i can keep track about old files and re-link them to the log files.

I wanted to do that caption yesterday night but it was too late... :-)

I'll do as soon as possible

Have a good day..

Alberto

PS :

By the way ..when you'll have some time maybe you could allow to personalize some part of the filename because often it becomes too long if adding my description . IExample 20090321_005952_L_Ptole_Alpho_Arza.mov

Unfortunately some 3rd party softwares  are still problematic with names longer than 31 characters.

Your identifier is the best one meaning that it resumes all the time data.

Maybe it's possible to trunk the Millennium/Century 2 chars (2009 = 09?).

Hi Alberto;

Very nice images.

I'd love to know some technical details (focal length, exposure times, number of stacked frames etc.) on each image when you have caught up in your sleep.

Thanks very much for sharing..

Hi Mark,

thank you for your comment :-).

They are all done with DMK 31 (1024x768) including M3.

In addition (for M3 only) i took even the RGB channels using the DBK31 (same CCD size).

No help from the Canon EOS.

They were taken with the configuration that you can see in the middle of the home page of my site:

OTA Celestron C8 reducer 3.3 +DMK for the recording guided with the MTO 1000 + DBK in monochrome binned 2x2 mode.

I launched 2 separate Astro IIDC applications using 2 cameras attached to the 2 firewire ports on my G4 laptop (firewire 400 + firewire 800)
