Well....I finally figured it out. I went to Preferences and took the check marks out of "after saving a frame (or movie) open it with the default application. Everything worked fine. I took 10 movies of Mare Nectaris. The seeing was like jello though. Still it was a good feeling to have overcome this little hurdle.
