Hi Milton, I haven`t tried what you suggest but apps. such as Celestia give a very nice visualisation of it when it occurs! My one Saturn image was on New years morning & was limited by focusing problems etc. Now I have a decent polar alignment I`ll have to have another go using perhaps my 2.4x Vixen barlow. I notice the Titan shadow situation dosen`t occur again for me `til May 9th though. Mark.
