Hi Milton, Glad you`ve finally had some relief from the all the snow! I`ve reverted with my latest images (later converted to mosaics) to snapshotting the stacked, aligned image preview window & not using the blended MAP images which I think give a lesser resolution result. I probably haven`t correctly mastered the art of selection areas which I understand from the Manual is quite an art? Mark.

Hi Folks;

I just finished updating my Astro web site with some new images:

I had one night of really variable but fairly good seeing on May 1st and managed to take a decent shot of Saturn (my best for 2009):

This saturn shot was taken in 2x2 binned mode for each LRGB filtered exposure so I could run at higher frame rates (33.33 ms with low gains for Luma). At normal 1x1, I got too much turbulence and ghosting on the edges, so this allowed me to run at 30 fps and 5 meter focal lengths. The RGB filters were run at 66.57 ms exposures in 2x2 binned mode.

I also put together some fairly decent mosaics of the North lunar pole :

and South Lunar Pole areas too:

from the same night.

Enjoy the images..
