I agree!

I've still got a 12.5" f/3.5 mirror that I've been threatening to make a camera out of by putting one of the fleas at the focus with a paracorr in front of it.  But that mirror came out of a baloon probe that "hard landed" and broke the mounts off the edge.  It's probably just a big paperweight now.  I'll have to set it up for visual to make sure it's useable before I go to too much trouble mounting it.

Wish my C-8 could be hyperstarred.  But it's orange, so it can't!

Hi Tim;

I don't know if they are their own designs or maybe re-branded. I've

seen a couple of companies that have a similar form factors as the

Flea too.

When I worked at Vitana / PixelLink, we did OEM work for Pulnix and

other companies. Some basically bought existing cameras from us and

re-branded them, where as other companies wanted completely new

Camera designs.

I still think a Flea / Flea 2 or maybe an EXHAD Grasshopper would

make a really phenomenal Camera for a Celestron / Starizona HyperStar

system. Maybe if I win a lottery I'll be able to experiment with my

C8 :)

Hi Milton:

I was just browsing your list of compatible cameras, and clicked on

the links to the new Unibrain cameras.  Some of them look similar

to Pt Grey's cameras.  Are they the product of a collaboration?  Or

altogether new?
