Mark;

Probably.

All you need to do is search Google / Yahoo / Bing with the phrase:

M42 to C-Mount

and you'll find lots..

Hi Milton, One of those C-Mount to M42 adapters`d make an interesting

experiment when I have some spare money. I have an old Nikkor 50mm

lens from my FM2 Nikon SLR.

I built one by using a hard plastic M42 end cap, cutting a hole

through the end of it, then epoxying a C-Mount male end on it around

the hole. For macro work, I picked up a set of M42 ring extenders

(also useful for getting the OAG and main scope in para focal too)

and can add them in as needed.

I`m tossing up whether to get myself a

Telegizmous 365 scope cover or go for the indoors satisfaction of

being able to play with a new copy of The Sky X in the meantime, next

month. We`ve certainly being having more than our fair share of rain

this year (it`s back again with a vengeance outside as I`m writing).

The Telegizmous covers are apparently tested with high pressure water

hoses as being watertight & also provide sun protection during

summer.

I use a vinyl silver BBQ cover as an outer liner and big clear

garbage bags as an inner liner for additional protection. It's

worked for me for 5 years now and keeps the scope cool on those hot

summer days too. Of course we don't have monsoon rains here, but

this keeps a lot of west snow off too.
