Hi Terry,
I use a 10" mak/cassegrain at f30, DMK camera controlled by Astro IIDC and Photoshop. This is a quickly processed stack of about 200 frames through a red filter - image size is reduced. Color images and more detail to follow.
thanks,
Alan

Alan, very nice indeed.
Can you tell us about your setup and any processing that might have been applied? Are we looking at just the red channel of data? How many images, etc..

Hi all,
I had an opportunity to image Jupiter last night - first since 2007 as Jupiter has finally moved above the power lines that line my backyard. The GRS was just past transit when I was able to pick up the impact scar rotating into view. This quick recording through the red filter shows the separation between the two:

It was a nice night of activity, with an eclipse and occultation of Europa by Io. Hope to have some time over the weekend to put together some finished images.
best wishes,
Alan
