Subject: Tips for imaging Jupiter

Good morning all.

I am making m first serious run at imaging Jupiter.  I have a 14" LX200R, Televue 2.5X Powermate, a DMK21 Firewire camera and I have been at it for two hours the product is steadily improving at the planet reaches its highest point tonight, 48 degrees.

I wonder if anyone has any last minute tips?  I am using Astro-IIDC to control the camera.  The hand controller seems fine for controlling the scope and focusing.

I am in West Palm Beach, Florida where it is clear skies and 83 degrees at 1:20 AM.

All comments appreciated.
