Here is a finished montage of two images recorded with my 10" mak on the evening of August 7th:

A brief moment of good seeing with Jupiter at 30.5 degrees is combined with the start of an occultation of Europa by Io that began about 40 minutes later. I'm very happy to have Jupiter back above the power lines that ring my backyard!
