Hi Milton,

I`ve re-set it as suggested & done some other adjustments. It was taken with the DBK 21A F04.AS & because of poor PA I was having trouble keeping the planet centred let alone having much chance changing settings in the camera controls to the best. I finally got ready tonight to do an "All Star" alignment but clouds rolled in. I`ve been a bit reluctant to PA as my brother & I plan to put some pavers down at the site soon & it`d have to be done again.

Hi Mark;

From your Image settings, why do you have the Sharpness Threshold Max: value set so low (it looks like 828)?

That's why your getting the pastel / blotchy / soft appearance of Jupiter.

I would set it to 65,535.

To my eyes with my monitor, the second image is much red and the original is a bit too greenish. However it depends on how you have your monitor calibrated with respect to white points and what Gamma you are using too.

HTH..
