Subject: current set-up...

Hi Everybody, I thought I`d post a couple of pictures of my scope set up as it is at present....As you can see I`ve got it sitting temporarily on some bricks. The plan is to put down about 3 metres square of pavers here which should be just enough for my picnic table & soon to arrive (hopefully) iBook G4 laptop. I`ve obtained 20 metres of VGA cable in the meantime, so one of my monitors can still go outside on the table. There`s a new carport to the north ( to the left & behind where I`m taking the first photo) which view was obscured previously anyway by some bottlebrush trees. The second shot shows the scope under the Telegizmous scope cover- I only have one string to contend with now around the tarp I use to protect the tripod base...! We had a deluge of rain here in May & it took a month for the ground to dry out completely...since, all of winter has been clear but I`ve been too distracted by the possible alternatives for the site (& upgrades to my equipment) to re-do polar alignment....Mark.
