Hi,

I've got a question regarding the Astro IIDC software.   If I have Quicktime

movie files I've captured via another piece of software,   can I import them

into Astro IIDC for alignment and processing?

Yes.

Astro IIDC will recognize .mov, .mpg, .avi and some .divx too. And it can convert a sequence of frames into an RGB48 movie too (no time code data though) for cases where you were using a DSLR Camera and then use those as source too.

However you won't get any Time Code related data out of any movies except ones that Astro IIDC created itself when recording. As  soon as they get processed (i.e Export to Movie..) outside of Astro IIDC, there is a very good chance the time code date is stripped out or altered and information gets lost.

HTH..
