Next time you are shooting solar prominences, try shooting in 16 bit
mode with the Scorpion and see if can image the suns disk and the
prominences at the same time. You will likely need to have the disk
quite bright, but with some stretching you likely can see the
prominences too. Or at least in theory you likely will have enough
grays to see both at the same time.
