From Evergreen CO.,  my Cosmic Rock Observatory 12.5" f/6 w/2x barlow IS DBK 640x480 camera w/ IR pass filter and red monochrome channel running 30 and 60 fps, didnt see anything obvious on the laptop screen.  Seeing was not good, it was clear and cold (!) 17 deg. F.  Just caught the end of the NASA channel coverage, sounds like they didnt see much either at least from imaging.  Took gigs of video, so will not get to processing until this weekend.     Ron

82 degrees at 3:20 AM here in West Palm Beach.  I am up and getting

ready for the event.  The IR Cut filter arrived.  But my experiments

the past few days leave me with little hope of succeeding.

Hi Folks;

NASA has published the official impact times :

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LCROSS/main/index.html

as 04:31:19 am PDT (for Centaur impact) and 4:35:38 am PDT (for

spacecraft).

Although CSK says it's supposed to clear up, it's still snowing,

windy and dropping to -10°C or lower, so I have little hope of

seeing it.

Hope some of you capture it..
