Well, it seems that the what is no longer working is the frame rescaling in the dialog box of "stack & align": setting at 2x crashes the program (I used to set it at 2x before upgrading to OSX 10.6.1). Everything else seems ok: disappointing, but I see it a minor bug which I can live with.
