Milton, Alan & everybody,

My Scorpion mosaic is taken with a f0.3 Mogg reducer & photomerged with Photoshop CS3 Extended. All the stacking & aligning is done with Astro IIDC though.... Milton, I ended up not using the Baader UV/IR cut filter as it gave me more response in the Camera control window. The movies were taken at a 0.5 reading on the exposure scale. Anything else was too bright-washed out!  The top left movie/image is probably taken with the Baader though before I removed it. I was all over the shop trying different ROI`s & is often the case with mosaics had to return to earlier movies to fill in areas...The calculator in The Sky X wasn`t an accurate indication it seems of what actually turns out as the FOV (any ROI selected)...it was somewhat smaller than in The Sky`s FOV calculator. I think a night which wasn`t a full moon would reveal more contrast-detail in craters for sure...The camera arrived right on cue for some baying at the Moon..!

Mark.
