Hi Alberto;

Very nice sequences.

I did not think that libration would make much of a difference over say a 2 or 4 hour period, like in the Copernicus sequence? If you were shooting over several months I could see that happening but not in a few hours. Or am i missing something?

I've tried this in the past, however the skies here are not stable enough over a long enough period to make it worth the attempt. It might be better this winter at the new location because there are no buildings to the south of me (at least not right now) which rile up the local air path ways.

Thank you Alan i take note for the final version of the movie.

Unfortunately that melody is copyrighted...

For final version i mean a collection of several sunrises sunsets that i'm processing.

It's very hard task because of a mass of avverse factors, first of all the huge seeing variations, the luminosity changes, the dew etc etc

In addition the angle of sight differs a lot from the beginning to the end of the sessions so i must deform-align in order not to show the libration influence.

Here some links to other 3 movies i did.

In addition i have Gassendi and Mee-hainzel almost finished
