Subject: ST3 Pro Exposure calculator...

Hi everybody,

I`ve entered the spectral response details (to the best of my ability) for the Scorpion 20S0 camera into the appropriate section of Sky Tools 3 Pro & here`s an attachment showing the Imaging Exposure Calculator window for M 42 for tonight night here. In the "Night Bar" above the blue line represents the relative imaging quality line & the orange one the effective resolution quality. Two yellow lines indicate the beginning & end of the exposure which with M 42 is only 1 minute long. With The Scorpion I`m finally getting some results in the Exposure Opportunities window! I`m still just practising & don`t expect I`ll actually get out & image tonight. There are more things to get right first! ST3 Pro is a Windows app & I`m running it on a PC. I know you don`t set much store by such calculators Milton but it may be useful yet!
