Subject: Leonid capture
I was out all night last night and ran my DMK21AF04 with a security lens attached and mounted on a tripod. I had a long cable which allowed me to stay inside where it was warm. I took 720 frame movies using AstroIIDC and 10 sec exposures.
I also had my EOS 450D setup on a tripod with an 18mm lens and being driven by Nebulosity using 30 second exposures. I havent had a chance to scan them yet.
This is the best frame I got of the Leonids. It is headed right through Gemini headed for Orion. On first look through, it appears I did get a few others as well but none as good as this. The time on this is UTC, so subtract 6 hours for CST, my local time.
