There is a small hole at the bottom of the camera directly under the ring. The camera should have come with a small Allen key taped to a piece of paper (yellow in my case) explaining how to tighten the screw to lock the ring.

The Allen key is a 1/28 inch one (0.035" from the scorpion Getting Started manual).
