What sort of scope are you using? I`m guessing this shot is at prime focus? Are you still stacking with Registax? You`re getting consistently better results than I am (more precise focus etc.)? I`ve got my doubts about the seeing on all my beginning attempts. My last time out for instance-there seemed to be a lot of turbulence. I`m using a C9.25 & Astro IIDC for acquisition & stacking & aligning. I`m finding with my moon shots the most useful ROI size is 816 x 618 pixels. Is this what you`re using? I don`t have a comparison on the nights mentioned but my Flea 2 (648 x 488 pixels-7.4 x 7.4 microns) seemed to give more precise results (as to focus etc.) in the Camera Controls window when using it previously..
