Just tried that Milton but the PC won`t let me open it without some external software that I can`t afford at present. Just before, I chucked WinRAR off the computer but when trying to open it`s directing me to the web where I`ve downloaded the first choice of softwares available there; "Driver Detective". There is a free thing which`ll unzip your files on the PC so it`s the same result with this & the file unzipped on the Mac & transferred. I have about $120 left in my credit card but Mobile Me updates automatically on the 31st January, so I have to provide for that.. By the way I tried centering the scope upon Sirius & de-focusing to either side with the doughnut. There is a slight (very slight) darkness on one side of the doughnut, then the other, when turned to the other side at one point in the focusing. In the middle I`m not really detecting much flaring. I`ll perhaps try with a barlow tomorrow night..I understand with Celestron mounts it`s an idea to centre your stars using up & right directions. I found there was no way I could centre without using down & left also?! Tomorrow I`ll start with a new 3 star if I get the chance & see how I go with the go-to`s. I heard guys (Chris Rowland I believe who writes the Ascom software for Celestron..) saying there`s no need to do another 3 star alignment after the All Star but thought that was rather optimistic myself..?

Mark;

Ever think of unzipping it (just double click to get the BOM Archiver to uncompress it) on a Mac and then transferring the resulting files to your PC?
