Hi Terry,

Back when you were buying your DMK camera I was one of the ones who sent you in the direction of the 21 series TIS cameras. You might have noticed recently that Alberto Mayer from Italy does image planetary subjects (& others) with his 31 & 41 series TIS cameras. Check out the excellent animation of Mars posted in message #4051 taken with his new C11! I seem to remember your original plan was to get a 41 type. If you felt you could afford a 41 series camera at some stage I wouldn`t like to be the one to "rain on your parade"! I`ll send this off & transfer to my Mac which has the bookmark of Alberto`s site, which I`ll also send you..

Mark.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the link! Would you believe I had M 42 in my grasp last night & let it go?! I was using PGR cameras extended exposure mode & must have neglected to press record! The movie fooled me- it was going along apace showing first green then the familiar red nebulosities as I changed the colour settings on my Flea 2..so, back to the drawing board with that one..!
