WOW, that is amazing.  It is much the same face as what I captured which makes it particularly interesting to me.


Thanks for the compliments.  I have witnessed better seeing at our site, but this was above average.  I never know exactly how to describe it.  I have looked at the Damien Peach piece on the Pickering Scale, but need to train my eyes a bit better.

Revisiting the Peach descriptions, a 5 or possibly between 5 & 6, is close to what I could see with stars through the scope.  Of course I was looking using a 15mm eyepiece at 186x and 20.9' FOV.  I definitely did not see anything as good as his 7.
