Excellent Jim! I was out last night too and I agree - the best seeing I've enjoyed for saturn in a couple of years. The view through the eyepiece was a stunner - I had a hard time tearing myself away to take pictures. I can't remember when I last had such a contrasty view of the cloud belts visually. Mars and the moon looked great too, I arrived on the scene too late for these so spent an hour or so capturing RGB files of saturn. Tomorrow looks like a good processing day. I'm under the black cloth in the backyard as I write this trying to image two nice active regions through the high clouds.
cheers,
Alan

Last night we experienced probably the best seeing conditions this year, so far, in the Toronto region.
I managed to image Saturn:

and also my last gasp attempt at a shrinking Mars:

I'm hoping Alan was out last night as well!
