Subject: 2nd Ha effort from Ray

Hi All,

Much better conditions this try although still in the middle of the day. I did wake up at 6:30 this morning but felt dozy and went back to sleep (lazy swine).

I'm very much more enthused after this result and it was processed mainly in AstroIIDC after trying a single frame attempt with PS CS4.

I was able to get much more detail out of the prominence and the surface although I masked the surface with a feathered selection to

tweak a bit more contrast out of the surface in PS CS4.

Hot work though and I need to get a shorter extension tube (3" instead of 4") to not have focus at the extremes.

80mm Coronado PST conversion (80mm Skywatcher ED refractor, DMK 21AF04 camera, all mounted on an EQ6)
