Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Plate solving

Milton,

Sorry,

I forgot I was on the group & not in private & was basically responding to your friendly observations on the weather...without changing the thread & fracturing the context willy nilly..

People will have perhaps gathered that Brian is in Alberta like you & that we`d discussed this previously. It is your group after all!

I actually DO boast about Astro IIDC in many places if it`s appropriate..

I was asked recently to advise of other Mac guiding options for instance..

I used Astro IIDC`s processing facilities recently for an entry in a universally based imaging contest & was at pains to correct the nomenclature of the Apps name in the processing details!

I must say I think you`re taking an overly parochial view of things recently...but that`s up to you & is basically because Apple is a more limited genre I suppose & you`re taking a more & more protectionist stance.

It`s reaching the stage for me, where the group is basically only for access to certain people`s excellent images.

As you say if I have problems with technicalities I can contact support..

Your serious warning is taken though, more seriously if possible..!!

Mark;

Once again, I have to ask you to use some COMMON SENSE in what you post.

This has NOTHING TO DO with Astro IIDC and is of ZERO interest to
anyone else because none of them have any clue who Brian Allan is!

I really have to ask, why is this so hard for you to follow the
rules?? If it doesn't have anything to do with Astro IIDC or Mac
Imaging, then DO NOT POST IT!

Jabbering about Maxim DL, ASCOM or other products on a Application
Specific list is just plain ignorant. Do you go on the Maxim DL list
and start blathering on about Astro IIDC?

So this is your final warning, there will be no others. If you break
the rules again, I'll send you a private e-mail telling you are gone
and then remove you from the group listing. You can directly e-mail me
for Astro IIDC Support - but you will not be on this list.
