Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Re: Chameleon USB 2 - First Light with Astro IIDC

Hi John;

Thanks for the kind words.

That came off a lot harsher than I intended. But the fact is that my (and other developers) Mac sales suck, Windows dominant companies have very little interest in a providing information for a offshoot computer company with 3% (world wide) market share when you can just use Windows on your PC now, it costs a lot of money to acquire the hardware to do the development and I have to fight with Apple for survival of the interfaces I'm using (i.e. portless Macs aren't terribly useful for hardware developers).

If it had not been for PGR supplying me with a USB 2 camera loaner for free, I would not have done it either.

TTYL..

Hey Milton,

I am sure I speak for many in the Mac astro community.

We greatly appreciate the IIDC product you bring to the Astro marketplace. When we see more software functionality come online from you and others it is hard not to be a bit pleased.

It is clear, at least to me, that this quality product exists for us because your keen interest in our hobby. I thank you for your continued development efforts. If you can make a few nickels in the process so much the better.

Best wishes,
