Beautiful shot.


There's a hint (?possibly?)  of detail on Io's disk too. Sort of a vertical grayish band? Might be an artifact too.


Can't wait to see what Jim comes up with over the next few days.


We have fog tonight and rain for the rest of the week. The trees have started turning yellow and leaves dropping off, which is about 6 weeks early for Fall. Down to 3°C last night with frost warnings. Third horrible cold wet summer in a row - so much for Global Warming..

Reasonably good Buffalo seeing and a lot of RGB data to look through... the two red spots are quite touching at the moment!
