Thanks Mark and Milton - yes, there is a bit of tonality in Io's disk... this seems to appear more obviously when the moon is in transit, but is harder to see against the backness of space.

We have fog tonight and rain for the rest of the week. The trees have
started turning yellow and leaves dropping off, which is about 6 weeks
early for Fall. Down to 3°C last night with frost warnings. Third
horrible cold wet summer in a row - so much for Global Warming..
